My first cable car ride.

On 12^th of October my friends and I went to Genting Highlands for the first time. With reference from friends who went before, they said that it’s a place of beauty and fun. Accompanied by it’s cool temperature and fun filled entertainment, I was convinced that it is a trip to remember. We paid RM 38 for the bus. The fee is inclusive of the theme park entrance fee. We set off at 9 in the morning. The place we took off from is KL central. It took us two hours to reach the cable car station. On the way to the summit, I experienced nausea and dizziness. It might be caused by my innate fear of height or the excitement of getting onto such transportation for the very first time. However, it was all worth it as the journey up was accompanied by the beauty of mother nature. The sceneries are simple breath taking. By looking at those beautiful sights alone made all my uneasiness disappear. So, that is more or less my maiden experience on a cable car ride. The experience is priceless and the sceneries itself would make me want to ride it again in the not so distance future.

Fishing..

This week, I got the title fishing for my written assignment. In this assignment, I would like to share one experience of fishing during the holy Ramadhan month. On the 13^th of September, about one in the morning, my friends and I decided to go out fishing. The intention is to catch some fish so that it could be cooked for our Sahur meal. The intended location of fishing is at a lake near college 14 of University Putra Malaysia. After getting my fishing gear ready, we started our walk to the destination. It only took us a 3 minute walk. Without wasting precious time, we were ready to start fishing with our trusted fishing rod. It was fished for quite a long period. However, that did not dent our spirit as we believe we will catch something sooner or later. After patiently waiting, my rod started to sway, which signaled that I caught something. It was indeed a fish. Shortly, my friends experienced the same thing. Lady luck was on our side as in 15 minutes time we caught a whole lot of fish. Maybe it is the blessing of the holy Ramadhan month. As the time reached 3.30am, we decided to call it a night as we need to cook for our morning breakfast. Without a doubt, those fish that we caught are the main course of our breakfast. We were joyous. This is because, not only we did saved money from not buying breakfast, we caught a lot of fish which ignites the passion of our hobby, fishing. With a little bit of flash back, not only was that night a fun fishing experience, it could also be a way to save money.
